The 19th annual St. Pat's Dinner and Silent Auction will be held Sunday by Leland Community United Methodist Church at the Leland Public School cafeteria and "big gym."
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and include a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, live entertainment from TC Celtic, the auction, and door prizes every 15 minutes.
More than 300 silent auction items will be available, including tickets to sporting events, a hand-made “Patches” quilt by Janie Markham, resort vacation stays, “oodles” of gift baskets, four cords of hardwood, a half-day pheasant hunt, and a “mystery basket” of items from Leelanau County. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $4 for children. A special children’s menu, and take-out., are also available.
Proceeds from the event will help support carpeting in the church’s new fellowship hall, youth programs, and community outreach.
