Gail Chambers of Traverse Mortgage has been named the highest volume originator of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority's single family mortgage program.

Vicky Silva and Georgie Cook, also of Traverse Mortgage, were also named the No. 2 and No. 3 highest volume originators of the program, respectively. The trio accounted for 177 of the over 1,700 MSHDA loans generated statewide in 2007. Overall, Traverse Mortgage was the fifth highest MSHDA lender in 2007.

Traverse Mortgage is a subsidiary of Traverse City State Bank, whose five locations include a branch office in Suttons Bay.
