G-L musicians selected for European trip

Two county students attending Glen Lake School will participate in Blue Lake Fine Arts Camps' European Tour this summer.

Kenyon Fatt and Charlie Thatch, both eighth graders at Glen Lake, will be included in the 70-member Blue Lake Southern Wind Ensemble directed by Michel LaCombe from Foix, France.

The students are scheduled to travel to seven of the eight following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, French, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.

Fatt, son of Larry Fatt and Jennifer Munten of Empire, plays flute. Thatch, who plays trombone, is the son of the late Daniel Thatch and Susan Eggl, also of Empire.
