Colby Thoreson of Cedar was honored at a recent academic honors convocation at Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Ind.

Thoreson is a freshman at the college and has been giving tutoring help in math and language to his peers at the college’s learning center.

Thoreson, son of Rob and Kathi Thoreson, is a 2007 Glen Lake graduate.
