The Leelanau Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 7:00 pm in the Township Hall, 119 E. Nagonaba Street, Northport, MI to receive public comment on zoning ordinance amendments as follows:
Article 14 – Planned Unit Development – Amendments would include the removal of the Agricultural and Island Conservation Districts from PUD eligibility, a definition for the requirement for affordable housing, establishment of criteria for achieving density bonuses, the reduction of residential density bonuses, and wording changes to provide clarity and to remove inconsistencies.
A full text of the affected Articles, Sections and subsections are available for review at the Leelanau Township offices. Copies are available upon request at cost.
