Services were held Saturday in Suttons Bay for Miguel Galindez Gonzalez of Peshawbestown who died March 19 at his home. He was 53.

He was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Manati, Puerto Rico, the son of Juan and Elena (Gonzalez) Galindez.

He was known as a gifted auto mechanic.

He is survived by his significant other, Elizabeth “Betty” Gibbs; sons, Jose Miguel Flores and Richard Flores; a daughter, Elena Dominguez; a brother, Jose Antionio Galindez; nieces, nephews, step children and grandchildren.

Burial was to be in Puerto Rico.
