Annual smelt dinner to help Cedar gun group build new clubhouse

The Cedar Rod and Gun Club will hold its 48th annual Smelt Dinner tomorrow from 3-8 p.m. at the Solon Township Hall in Cedar.

BPW to aid bond sale for Cedar sewer

A recommendation to assist in the funding of a proposed $860,000 sewer system for the unincorporated village of Cedar was approved Tuesday by the county Board of Public Works (BPW).

Elmwood dock delayed

A third dock now four years in the planning will likely still be constructed at the Elmwood Township marina, although the odds of having the project completed before boating season are diminishing with each passing day.
