Auditions will be held on April 14 and 16 at Northport Public School for the musical comedy Sugar's Folly.
Auditions for the singing roles of three men and five women will be held Monday and next Wednesday, April 14 and 16, at 7 p.m. in the music/band room at the school.
The production will serve as a benefit for the Northport Area Heritage Association. It was written by Northport native Sue Hanson.
Sugar’s Folly is a fantasy about a divorcee who moves to Northport and buys a big old house with plans to converit it into a bed and breakfast. The handyman she hires to renovate the house finds letters that tell of a 100-year-old tragedy involving a lost treasure.
The play will be performed June 27 and 28 at the Northport Community Arts Center. For more information on the auditions or play, call 386-5606.
