An event benefitting Lin Arkles of Centerville Township will be held Saturday, May 10, at the VFW Hall in Lake Leelanau.

Food, music and a silent auction will be held from 5:30 to 10 p.m. The home owned by Arkles, an artist, burned to the ground earlier this month.

Volunteers are needed to help and donations of silent auction items are sought.
