Synopsis of regular board meeting April 16, 2008.

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. All board members present. Also present Twp. Assessor Julie Krombeen, Solon Twp. board members and 18 residents.
Twp. March minutes approved as corrected.
Treasurer’s report reviewed and accepted.
James Schwantes was appointed the new Twp. Trustee to fill the remaining term of the deceased Richard Pleva.
James Schwantes will also be the Twp. Bd. representative on the Planning Comm.
Motion carried to adopt the 2008 Twp. Budget as amended.
Mrs. Hughes representing the residents of Schomberg Rd. petitioned the Board to upgrade Schomberg Rd. The Twp. Board will be meeting with the County Road Comm. next month to discuss the issue.
The Solon Twp. Board attended our meeting to finalize the Solon/Centerville Twp. Fire Dept. Budget for 2008-2009. Motion carried to adopt the Fire Dept. Budget as proposed originally. Motion also carried to pay the Fire Dept. bills as presented.
Motion carried to accept the low bid from Williams Pumping Service to provide Porta-jons for the Twp. Park.
The next regular meeting of the Centerville Twp. Bd. will be May 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Centerville Twp. Hall.
