SYNOPSIS
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Supervisor Harry Larkin with Treasurer Mike Kirt and Clerk Jane Keen present and Trustees Nicholas Lederle and Steve Plamondon absent. Also present were 23 guests. The agenda was approved as amended. Minutes were approved as presented for the March 10 and March 15 meetings. The Treasurer’s Report was approved as presented. The following board actions were taken:
Approved a contract with OMI for sewer operations
Approved a sewer budget amendment
Approved a zoning administrator contract renewal
Approved a township mileage reimbursement rate
Approved a Suttons Bay summer tax collection fee
Granted a temporary vendor’s license for the farmer’s market
Granted permission for the Wine and Food Festival in Leland
Appointed Vince Fleck as Planning Commission representative to the ZBA
Appointed Jon Stimson as a regular member of the ZBA
Authorized the township to borrow up to $135,000 for payment of sewer bonds
Appointed Steve Clem to the Fire Board
Approved bills and accounts
