MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Christopher S. Risinger a married man and Jenna L. Risinger, his wife, to Manufacturers Financial Corporation, Mortgagee, dated June 30, 2006 and recorded July 10, 2006 in Liber 907, Page 600, Leelanau County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage is now held by LaSalle Bank, N.A. as Trustee for the MLMI Trust Series 2006-HE6 by assignment. There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Two Hundred Eleven Thousand One Hundred Forty-Nine and 81/100 Dollars ($211,149.81) including interest at 11.75% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue at the
Leelanau County Courthouse, 8527 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay in Leelanau County, Michigan at 11:00 a.m. on MAY 23, 2008.
Said premises are located in the Township of Suttons Bay, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as:
Parcel 1: Part of the East one-half of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 17, Town 30 North, Range 11 West, described more fully as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 17; thence North along the East line of said Section 17, 1292.50 feet to the centerline of a 66.00 foot wide private easement; thence North 81 degrees 00 minutes 02 seconds West (also recorded as North 81 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds West and North 80 degrees 03 minutes 30 seconds West), along said centerline, 137.73 feet; thence South 85 degrees 18 minutes 20 seconds West, along said centerline, 147.46 feet; thence West along said centerline, 10.00 feet for the Point of Beginning; thence South, 318.00 feet; thence West, 340.00 feet to said easement centerline; thence North, along said easement centerline 318.00 feet, thence East, along said easement centerline, 340.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Together with and subject to a private, non-exclusive ingress-egress and utility easement 66.00 feet in even width, the centerline of said easement being more fully described as: Commencing at the East one-quarter corner of said Section 17; thence South, along the East line of said Section 17 and within the right of way of Dumas Road, 1304.40 feet (also recorded as 1364.51 feet) for the Point of Beginning of said Easement centerline; thence North 81 degrees 00 minutes 02 seconds West (also recorded as North 81 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds West and North 80 degrees 03 minutes 30 seconds West), 137.73 feet; thence South 85 degrees 18 minutes 20 seconds West, 147.46 feet; thence West, 350.00 feet; thence South 901.83 feet; thence South 57 degrees 42 minutes 05 seconds East, 209.51 feet to the Point of Ending of said easement centerline.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. TO ALL PURCHASERS: The foreclosing mortgagee can rescind the sale. In that event, your damages, if any, are limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.
