1913-2008
Services were held in Jackson for longtime Leelanau County summer resident Leo William Peck who died March 9. He was 94.
He was born Sept. 2, 1913. His wife of 63 years, Ruby, preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Consumers Energy as a supervisor of systems development. He enjoyed visiting the family cottage on Little Traverse Lake, as well as boating, sailing, cars, and smoking cigars.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Richard) Bowzer and Helen (David) Clark; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
