Special Meeting Minutes March 20, 2008

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Soderholm at 9:00 A.M. in the Glen Arbor Town Hall meeting room. All Board members present. The purpose of the meeting was to review the grant application for public restroom, the Empire/Glen Arbor Fire Department Agreement and the Emergency Services Budget 08-09. Motion carried to authorize Soderholm to sign MDEQ grant application certification. Contract with Empire is moving along. Payments for first 3 years have been set. Year 3 and beyond are based on a formula of shared operating expenses of 53% Glen Arbor and 47% Empire plus a fixed annual capital contribution in the amount of $100,000. Motion carried to purchase a copier for Township Office. Motion carried to purchase a fax machine for Township Office. Meeting adjourned to the call of the chair at 11:11 PM.
