The Kasson Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 19,

2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kasson Township Hall, 10988 S. Newman Road, Maple City, MI 49664.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider an application for a Special Use Permit from Elmer’s Construction Engineering to add a three (3) acre parcel to their Elmer’s M-72 gravel extraction operation. The properties covered by the proposed permit are parcels 45-007-020-001-00, 45-007-020-001-20, and 45-007-020-006-20, located on W. Empire Hwy. (M-72) approx. 1/4 mile west of S. Coleman Road (Co. Rd. 669).

Written comments should be mailed to: Kasson Township Planning Commission, P.O. Box 62, Maple City, MI 49664 or delivered in person to the Township Clerk. Deadline for receipt of written comments is 5 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008.
