MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Raymond J. Pelky and Rebecca A. Pelky, husband and wife, original mortgagor(s), to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for lender and lender’s successors and/or assigns, Mortgagee, dated February 10, 2005, and recorded on February 22, 2005 in Liber 1843 on Page 720, in Leelanau county records, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Two And 79/100 Dollars ($152,852.79), including interest at 6.5% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Leelanau County, at 11:00 AM, on May 30, 2008.
Said premises are situated in Township of Empire, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: Parcel 2: a Part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21, Town 28 North, Range 14 West, commencing at the South line of said Southeast 1/4 an the West line of County Road 677 thence North 165 feet along the West Line of County Road 677 for Point of Beginning; thence West 528 feet; thence North 165 feet; thence East 528 feet; thence South 165 feet to beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
