"Orchids by the Bay", a two-day show featuring orchid societies and commercial growers from throughout the Midwest, will be held this month at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center.

The show will be hosted by the Northwestern Michigan Orchid Society from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 25. There is no admission to attend. In addition to blooming orchid plants, the show will feature an educational exhibit, orchid art, crafts and photography. Members of the local orchid society will also be available to answer any questions.
