DEBBIE SLOCOMBE (right) and her daughter Samara Slocombe returned home to Suttons Bay recently from their annual trip to Oklahoma City, Okla., for the Pinto Horse Association National Convention, where both won top awards. With her horse WillSeeYa, Deb Slocombe received the first-place horse rider award for the third straight year, with a different horse each time. Samara Slocombe, with her horse TicklinYerFanci, received a first-place youth award.
