Leisa Eckerle-Hankins, a Suttons Bay resident and Traverse City business owner, has been named director of development and admissions for The Pathfinder School in Grelickville.

Eckerle-Hankins has chaired the development committee of the Board of Trustees at Pathfinder since its inception last year.

Eckerle-Hankins’ accomplishments include executive director of the State Theatre Project, Encore Society of Music, St. Cecilia Music Society and Planned Parenthood of Western Michigan.

Eckerle-Hankins’ community leadership roles also include Downtown Traverse City Association, president; Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce member; Traverse City Rotary Club, past member; Traverse City Ares Council Cultural Coalition, past member; and Traverse City Ballet Company, past board member.
