A regular meeting of the Township Board was held on April 8, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Township Hall, 10090 E. Lincoln Road, Traverse City. The Board approved the following:

Attorney Jim Young to conduct legal research regarding vested interest and the effect of the amended zoning ordinance on the Wolverine substation project.
Township engineer to complete a bottomlands survey on the waters in front of the park and complete a plan for a mooring field.
Amendments to the Standards and Specifications for Sanitary Sewer & Water Mains book.
Acceptance of the letter of resignation dated March 26, 2008 from Trustee Jim O’Rourke.
Board to interview applicants for the vacant position of Trustee prior to May 13.
Leelanau County Road Commission request for $5000 to help pay for improvements to Meadowbrook Drive.
Payment of invoices in the amount of $126,773.69.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
A special meeting of the Board was held on May 1, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The Board appointed Kyle Trevas to fill the remaining term of office of Trustee vacated by Jim O’Rourke. The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
