Olympic medalist to attend horse jumping clinic at farm

Olympic silver medalist Greg Best will be at Double Oak Farm near Suttons Bay for a horse jumping clinic May 30 through June 1.

Best, the winner of numerous Grand Prix events throughout the world, now makes his home in New Zealand and is the New Zealand Show Jumping Team coach. The role included coaching the team at the Athens Olympics, where New Zealand had its best performance ever.

Best’s knowledge and experience are expected to provide the rider a positive environment to help improve their horse, understand his theories and practices behind his recommendations, and provide the students with skills they can apply to any horse.

Annie and Jeremy Grant of Double Oak Farm invite riders or others who would just like to audit the class to their farm to learn from Best.

Further information is available by calling (231) 218-3267 or emailing agdoubleoakfar@att.net.
