MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Daryl Plamondon and Catherine Plamondon, husband and wife, original mortgagor(s), to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for lender and lender’s successors and/or assigns, Mortgagee, dated August 25, 2006, and recorded on September 5, 2006 in Liber 913 on Page 450, in Leelanau county records, Michigan, and assigned by mesne assignments to IndyMac Bank F.S.B. as assignee, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Four And 90/100 Dollars ($188,874.90), including interest at 7.5% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Leelanau County, at 11:00 AM, on June 6, 2008.
Said premises are situated in Township of Centerville, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: The South 624 Feet of the East 208 feet of the following described property: The Southwest 1/4 of Section 9, Town 29 North, Range 12 West, except the East 40 acres thereof, more fully described as: Commencing at the South 1/4 corner of said Section 9; Thence North 89 degrees 34 minutes 03 seconds West 659.02 feet along the South Line of said Section 9 to the Point of Beginning; Thence North 89 Degrees 34 Minutes 03 Seconds West, 208.00 feet, along said South line; Thence North 00 Degrees 14 Minutes 39 Seconds East, 624.00 feet; Thence South 89 Degrees 34 Minutes 03 Seconds East, 208.00 feet, parallel with said South line; Thence South 00 Degrees 14 Minutes 39 Seconds West, 624.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
