The Rehmann Group has announced that Ruth Gilmer of Kasson Township has joined the company's Traverse City office as a staff auditor.

Gilmer will provide audit and other assurance services primarily for governmental and not-for-profit entities. Most recently, she was an intern with The Rehmann Group, and previously was accounting manager with Leelanau Trading Co., Inc., in Empire.

Gilmer graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 grade point average from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is currently pursuing her MBA.
