The Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum will present two volunteer training sessions later this month.

The sessions are for new and returning volunteers, and will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 28, and 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 in the education room at the gift and camp store at the museum.

The sessions will provide an introduction to volunteering, including responsibilities and benefits; a walking tour that includes a history of the lighthouse; and the goals and processes involved in “sharing the story.”
