St. Mary's Parish in Lake Leelanau is hosting a Vacation Bible School in June.

All area children are invited to join the program, entitled "Parachute with the Angels and St. Catherine LaBoure."

Sessions will be held St. Mary School for five days, Monday through Friday, June 23-27, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Classes will be held for students entering Preschool/Kindergarten (4 years old and up), as well as for grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6.

The registration fee is $5 per child for the week. Sponsors for the program include East Traverse Catholic Federal Credit Union, Larkin of Leelanau Insurance Group, Pedaling Beans Coffeehouse, and the Knights of Columbus.

St. Mary students will also be offering lemonade and cookies at Plantmasters of Suttons Bay Saturday to raise funds and defray expenses.
