7 p.m., sidewalk chart art on Front Street, at the township hall.

SATURDAY
9 a.m. – 5K Fun Run/Walk.
10 a.m. to noon – Kids Games in the green space across from the library; sidewalk chart art to continue on Front Street.
11 a.m. – Artist Tim Lewis of Empire to give signings of Asparagus Festival posters.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Asparagus Eats, next to the post office.
11:30 a.m. – Asparagus cooking demonstrations next to the post office. (Demonstrations also planned at noon, 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.)
11:30 a.m. – Asparagus recipe contest/cookoff, township hall.
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Asparagus mystic: fortunes told through asparagus on Front Street.
3 p.m. – Asparagus Parade.
4 to 8 p.m. – Local wine tasting, township hall.
4 to 8 p.m. – Asparagus Festival dinner sponsored by the Empire Lions Club, township hall.
7 p.m. – Sidewalk chalk art resumes.
8 to 11 p.m. – Free concert by 3 Hour Tour, township hall.

SUNDAY
4 TO 8 P.M. – Asparagus BBQ and concert, Empire Village Inn.
