Notice Of Mortgage Foreclosure Sale

ATTN PURCHASERS: This sale may be rescinded by the foreclosing mortgagee. In that event, your damages, if any, shall be limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.
MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Jerry D Gulley and Rita G Gulley, Husband and Wife, original mortgagor(s), to Travelers Bank and Trust, FSB, Mortgagee, dated August 20, 2002, and recorded on August 28, 2002 in Liber 661 on Page 170, in Leelanau county records, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Fifty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Two And 35/100 Dollars ($58,752.35), including interest at 8.7996% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Leelanau County, at 11:00 AM, on June 13, 2008.
Said premises are situated in Township of Cleveland, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: The North 180 feet of the East 194 of feet of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of section 34, Town 29 North, Range 13 West, Cleveland Township, Leelanau County, Michigan.
Together with a right of ingress and egress over the following described Parcel: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said southeast quarter of the southeast quarter; thence South along the section line, 295 feet to the point of beginning; thence returning North along said section line, 115 feet; thence West parallel to the South eighth line, 95 feet; thence southeasterly to the point of beginning
Subject to the following:
Right of way in favor of Michigan Bell Telephone Company as recorded in Liber 5 of Miscellaneous Records, page 259.
Rights of the public and any Governmental unit in any part thereof, taken used or deeded for Street, Road or Highway Purposes.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
