Saving Birds Thru Habitat docent Ann McInnis will help people discover the "wows" of amphibians in a special event Friday at the SBTH Discovery Center.
The presence of Michigan frogs and toads at the Charter Sanctuary and implications for the other creatures living there will be explored during a 7:30 p.m. “frog walk.”
SBTH executive director Kay Charter will also lead a walk around the sanctuary at 8 a.m. Saturday to demonstrate first-hand how native plants increase nesting bird populations.
Reservations are required for both events and may be made by calling 271-3738.
