MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Janet S. Eshleman, an unmarried woman, to Washington Mutual Bank, F.A., successor by merger with Long Beach Mortgage Company, Mortgagee, dated April 21, 2006 and recorded April 27, 2006 in Liber 898, Page 729, Leelanau County Records, Michigan. There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Two and 60/100 Dollars ($160,492.60) including interest at 8.75% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue at the Leelanau County Courthouse, 8527 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay in Leelanau County, Michigan at 11:00 a.m. on JUNE 20, 2008.
Said premises are located in the Township of Bingham, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as:
Lot 15, Murray Farm Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof, as Recorded in Liber 7 of Plats, Pages 43 and 44.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. TO ALL PURCHASERS: The foreclosing mortgagee can rescind the sale. In that event, your damages, if any, are limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.
