Kasson Township Notice to the Public

The following is a synopsis of the May 20, 2008 special meeting of the Kasson Township Board. A complete transcript is available from the

Township Clerk. The purpose of this meeting was to consult with Township Attorneys regarding the Kyser vs Kasson township litigation and correspondence. Supervisor Lanham called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Members present: Triebes, Feys, and Lanham. Absent: R. & B. Noonan. Also present was Attorney Mr. Tom Grier.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Discussion took place with Mr. Grier regarding the above litagation and correspondence after which it was agreed by roll call vote to place an application with the Michigan Supreme Court to hear the case and to also retain Mr. Gerald Fisher as attorney with assistance from Mr. Ford and Mr. Grier.
Adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
