The Northport-Omena Chamber of Commerce will host a tour of businesses in and near Northport's industrial sector on June 12.

The tour will start at 4 p.m., and participants are asked to meet at the Leelanau Township Fire Hall, located at the corner of Mill and Eighth Streets. From there, participants will visit eight businesses: Master Craft Extrusion Tools, Inc., Sherwood Manufacturing Corp., RC Auto Repair, Pump House, Thomas and Milliken Millwork, Cook Enterprises, Calhoun Excavating, and Closet Express. Tours will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m.

Tour organizers want to show the diversity of successful business that have chosen the Northport-Omena area as home. After the tour, the chamber will host a social hour at Stubb’s Sweetwater Grill.
