The Glen Lake Community Library will host a series of summer programs for children and families, beginning today.
All programs start at 11 a.m. and are open to the public. Following is a list of activities through August:
— June 19, Watercolor painting with Beth Bricker.
— June 26, Storytelling and music with Karen Czarnick.
— July 3, Chicken stories and chickens, with Tina Ulrich.
— July 10, Make paper cranes with Maryellen Paul.
— July 17, Learn to draw cartoons with Dick Evans.
— July 24, Music with Emma Cook and Will Hendricks.
— July 31, Learn about beneficial bugs with a Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Ranger.
— Aug. 7, “Duct Tape” creations with William Beacom.
— Aug. 14, Sandcastle building with Lucinda Weirenga.
— Aug. 21, Yoga for kids with Janette Berkshire.
