Bob and Kay Hall of Solon township
were married June 17, 1958.

Bob and Kay (Haywood) Hall of Solon Township celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday.

The couple was married on June 17, 1958, by the Rev. Wright in Long Lake Township.

Mr. Hall retired from the United States Coast Guard after 22 years of service and had a second career, teaching small engine repair at the Traverse Bay Area Career-Tech Center.
He retired in 2002 after teaching 24 years.

The couple marked their anniversary in March with a month-long trip to Arizona.
