Board Minutes

The following is a synopsis of the June 10, 2008 regular meeting of the Empire Township Board. A complete copy of the minutes may be obtained by contacting the Clerk.
Supervisor Bolton called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. Members present: Deering, Neiswonger, Pendleton, and Noonan. Minutes of the 05-13-08 regular meeting were approved.
Treasurer, Campground, and Planning reports were heard.
Supervisor Report: Board approved request from the Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitors Bureau to install a Travelers Information Station in Empire’s tower district, subject to the Zoning Administrator’s approval.
Actions approved by motions: 1) Approved amendment of the Hazardous Materials Response Service agreement with Traverse City. Amendment required due to increase fee of 395.00. 2) Paid monthly bills.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
