The Village of Northport Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on July 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. This Public Hearing will be held at the Betty L. Mork Administrative Building (Village offices) located at 118 West Nagonaba Street, Village of Northport 49670.
Douglas and Jacqueline Kilgren, 309 Rose St., Northport, MI 49670 has submitted an application to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a variance request.
The request is for a variance of the twenty feet front building setback requirement in the (R-2) Village Residential District. A six and one half feet variance is requested for the construction of a residential addition.
This variance request is for a parcel of land with an existing residential structure located at 309 Rose Street and further described as Lot 15, 17, 19 and E. 20 feet of Lot 21, South side of Fourth St., Village of Northport.
Approval of the variance request would allow construction of an addition to the existing single family structure to be located thirteen and a half feet from the East property line of said property, that fronts on Rose St.
