PURSUANT TO 15 USC §1692 YOU ARE HEREBY INFORMED THAT THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT AND THAT ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE MAY BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.
MORTGAGE SALE - Default has been made in the condition of a mortgage made by Christopher G. Winowiecki and Carol L. Winowiecki Husband and Wife to HOUSEHOLD FINANCE CORPORATION III by a mortgage dated August 26, 2003 and recorded on September 9, 2003 in Liber 762 on Page 708, Leelanau County Records Michigan on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Three and 37/100 Dollars ($125,723.37) including interest at 9.23% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, at the Leelanau County Courthouse, 8527 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2008.
Said premises are situated in the Township of Solon, County of Leelanau State of Michigan, and are described as:
Part of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 21, Town 28 North, Range 12 West, Solon Township, Leelanau County, Michigan, more fully described as: Commencing at the East quarter corner of said Section 21; thence West 938.50 feet along the East-West quarter line to the centerline of Gallivan Road; thence South 37 degrees 23 minutes 20 seconds West, 346.00 feet along said centerline to the Point of Beginning; thence South 84 degrees 33 minutes 40 seconds East, 216.89 feet; thence South 33 degrees 06 minutes 04 seconds West, 230.00 feet; thence North 60 degrees 59 minutes 55 seconds West, 203.35 feet to the centerline of said road; thence North 37 degrees 23 minutes 20 seconds East, 144.11 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with 1948CL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
