The Grand Traverse Chorus invites area women to the group this month and August for its 60 Voices Singing Project.

Summer participants will join the chorus for rehearsals and a portion of the Aug. 31 performance with the Cherry Capital Chorus on the lawn of the Grand Traverse Pavilions.

The kickoff “Visitors Night” for the 60 Voices Singing Project will be at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 22 at the Centerpointe Building, 12935 S. West Bayshore Dr., Traverse City.
