The local flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer a free, voluntary Vessel Safety Check (VSC) for local boaters at the Suttons Bay Village Marina between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday.
The VSC helps boaters determine whether their vessels comply with federal and state boating requirements. Upon successful completion of the check, a VSC emblem is awarded for display on the vessel.
