Keep government out of religious and church beliefs

To the Editor:

Our apologies to all pseudo-intellectual, educated people like Mr. Tom Fleming, and all others like him.

We’re sorry for our mistaken beliefs in a 2,000 plus year old Religion and a 200 plus year old Constitution of Freedom.

I know he and others like him believe in questionable ways of holding down population growth. Our government pays to have over 1 million unborn American citizens killed annually. I’m sure he believes those unborn Americans would just be a drain on his style of life.

Yes, Mr. Fleming, let’s take away our freedom of religion with Obamacare. I, for one, do not want to pay for others who wish to have sex. Let them pay for their own protection. Wow! What an innovative concept, personal responsibility! Oops, maybe they don’t have enough money since now their paying such high gas prices.

Many Catholics and Christians alike do not look for the federal government to get involved in every aspect of our lives. The current administration wants religion and church to stay out of government. So, let government stay our of religious and church beliefs.

Your solution may be to go to Walmart and you buy boxes or cases of birth control stuff and then run an ad in the newspaper so those in need may drive to your home for their supplies. Oh, by the way, please give them a twenty dollar bill for the cost of four gallons of gas.

P.S. If you and your kind think for a moment that insurance companies can exist without passing on to all of us, the cost of providing birth control, you’re as intellectual as Nancy Pelosi who said, “We have to pass this bill (Obamacare) to find out what’s in it.”
