A memorial service will be held in the future for James A. Godziebiewski of Suttons Bay who died May 2 in California.

He was 65.

Jim served in the Army in the 1960s and afterward was employed at General Motors in Michigan. He moved to Suttons Bay becoming part of Edward’s Home Furnishings for 15 years.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by brothers Eddie Gee and John Godziebiewski.

He is survived by his daughter Mia (Brandon) Johnston, one grandson; brothers Robert, Kenneth and Richard Godziebiewski and sister, Beverly Newcomb as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held at St. Rose Catholic Church in Roseville, Calif.
