Chick’n lick’n good
AMANDA HERMAN of Cedar, right, participates in one of several children’s games while her sister, Faith, looks on. Thirteen-hundred, seven meals of barbecued chicken and all the fixings was served Sunday at 103rd chicken dinner and summer St. Wenceclaus church, Gill’s Pier.
That’s a big feat for the tiny church which has just over 65 member families. There were also children’s games, a giant garage sale and raffle with 50 prizes.
