To the Editor:

The August 7th Primary Election will determine the new Leelanau County Sheriff.

Del Moore has a detailed no cost plan to bring a law enforcement presence back to neighborhoods. Community Policing will put a face to the uniform and will provide a venue for non-threatening dialogue between citizens and deputies.

I have known Del for almost 12 years. He is scrupulous and beyond reproach in every aspect of his life. He is a generous and supportive friend who stands by what he believes and what he says.

Vote for Del Moore for Sheriff.
