To the Editor:

First impressions are a good sign of something good.

The grasses are cut along both sides of the highway and looks good as you enter in Lake Leelanau. Also looking good with all the new businesses.

But when you get to the bridge, all the weeds and grasses that are growing into the guard rails do not look good.

The flower pots look very nice, but on the other side there are more weeds and grasses.

It would look much better if they were gone.
