A Traverse City man was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday north of Northport.

Michael Stein, 52, was southbound on N. Lighthouse Point Road about noon when he lost control of his motorcycle on loose gravel and crashed, Undersheriff

Scott Wooters said.

Both Stein and his 52-year-old passenger, Raelynn Stein of Traverse City, were transported to Munson Medical Center.

Raelynn was treated and released. The motorcyclist was listed in fair condition as of Tuesday morning.
