Northport Bay Yacht Club will hold its annual Pirates Race this Saturday.
There will be a skippers meeting at noon at the marina courtyard and the race will begin at 1 p.m. This is a change from the original schedule.
Skippers and their crew are encouraged to dress and/or decorate their boat with a pirates’ theme for an extra point in the annual series. The club will also be sponsoring a “Night at the Movies” by showing a movie at dusk in the Marina Papillion.
NBYC encourages all sailors to join in the races and anyone interested in sailing or joining the club can contact John and Lisa Rogers at jlbrogers@yahoo.com.
