To the Editor:

I congratulate the Omena community for once again holding a successful election for mayor, in true Omena style. I understand that it was a good, clean election, with plenty of vote-buying on the part of all candidates. I look forward to continuing the productive relationship we in Suttons Bay Village government have had with our neighbors to the north, and am confident that Maya Deibel will represent her community with bountiful canine good cheer. Congratulations to all.
