S-B girls among Interlochen artists
Sisters Naomi and Natalie Myers of Suttons Bay have been accepted and are attending Interlochen Arts Camp, the world’s premier summer arts program for aspiring artists grades 3-12.
Naomi, 14, is studying the bassoon while Natalie, 13, studies the french horn.
They are the daughters of Dolly Martinson of Suttons Bay and Thomas Myers of Traverse City.
The Myers girls will be in eighth and ninth grade at Suttons Bay Schools, and are honor students, members of the band program and the track and field team.
They receive private instruction on the bassoon and horn, and both earned a Division I rating for their instrumental solos this past spring.
