Last good movie you saw: The Lucky One, a 2012 romantic drama directed by Scott Hicks. Zac Efron is one of my favorite actors.

Last good book you read: Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin, a 2005 novel that addresses the stigmas placed against single women in their thirties and the pressure society puts on them to get married. It was one of the few books that kept me intrigued the whole time.

If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would that be: Sandra Bullock; She seems like a strong, hard-working and independent woman. I think it’d be interesting to see what it’s like to be famous.

Things important to you that you have accomplished so far: Graduating from Glen Lake High School, getting accepted into Ferris State University and maintaining two jobs during the summer.

What you hope to be doing in 10 years: I’d like to have my degree in dental hygiene, maintain a career in my field of study, and have a family here in Leelanau County.

Things you lose sleep over: School work and maintaining a high GPA.

If you could change one thing in Leelanau County, it would be: More job opportunities year round and more sports programs in area high schools.

Favorite dessert: My Aunt Sheri’s homemade apple pie.

Are you a coffee drinker: No, I’m addicted to Coca-Cola though.

Favorite place in Leelanau County: The Empire Bluffs, the view is breath-taking.

If you have more time, you would: I’d work more, spend time with family and relax at the beach.
