RUSSELL CAREW and Taryn Goodney-Jones, of Suttons Bay, recently announced their engagement. Taryn Goodney-Jones and Russell Carew, both of Suttons Bay, have announced their engagement.

An Oct. 6 wedding at Timber Lee Hills is planned.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Peter Jones and Demarie Goodney- Jones of Suttons Bay. The bridegroom elect is the son of Chris and Roberta Carew of Traverse City.

Goodney-Jones is a Suttons Bay and Grand Valley State University grad. She is employed at Michigan Energy Options as the Northwest regional coordinator and at Inland Seas Education Association as an operations assistant.

Carew is a Traverse City West and Ferris State University graduate. He is currently a service technician at Pioneer Diesel in Traverse City.
