A 78-year-old Traverse City woman was injured in a two-car accident Friday afternoon near Port Oneida.

Mary Kelderhouse was leaving a private drive, turning right on West Harbor Highway (M-22) when she was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Elaine Herman, 52, of Suttons Bay, according to police reports.

Kelderhouse was transported by ambulance to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City where she was treated and released. Herman suffered minor injuries and sought her own treatment.

Kelderhouse was cited for a hazardous action, failure to yield the right-ofway, Undersheriff Scott Wooters said.
